Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and continuously improve global commodity and sourcing strategies
- Drive global volume allocation between Europe and China based on demand, capacity, cost and risk
- Consolidate worldwide demand planning into a single source of truth and align sourcing decisions accordingly
- Lead strategic supplier selection, qualification, development and performance management
- Drive global cost reduction initiatives and optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Lead international price, contract and commercial negotiations
- Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation, dual-sourcing and business continuity measures
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable international and EU regulations
- Coordinate procurement activities with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and Operations
- Lead cross-functional escalation management for critical supply issues
Required
- University degree in Business Administration, Mechatronics Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Several years of strategic procurement experience in an international manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in global sourcing and supplier relationship management
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, TCO and contract management
- Experience with demand planning, capacity planning and supplier development. Experience of supply chain coordination in Electrical company is preferred.
- Knowledge of international trade, supply chain risk management and compliance
- Experience working with Chinese suppliers and global organizations is highly desirable
- Fluent English with good command of listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Strategic thinking with a global business mindset
- Experience in international supply-chains in Electrical company especially with European
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Cross-cultural communication and coordination skills
- Project Management skills and experience
- Supplier development and performance management expertise
- Commercial and financial acumen
