Procurement Category Buyer Mechanics (gn) 
 

 

  • Ensuring Material Availability
  • Scheduling and planning parts and assemblies, managing ramp-up and phase-out processes, and initiating escalations in case of supply bottlenecks.
  • Demand Planning & Quotation Management
  • Determining and validating material requirements, requesting and comparing quotations, and clarifying technical specifications.
  • Operational Purchasing & Delivery Monitoring
  • Creating purchase orders and delivery schedules, monitoring delivery dates and quantities, handling complaints, and verifying invoices.
  • Supplier Management & Negotiations
  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships, conducting or supporting negotiations, and assisting in supplier selection and evaluation.
  • Category and Procurement Strategy
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of procurement and category strategies, monitoring market trends, and analyzing cost, supplier, and risk structures.
  • Project & Process Optimization
  • Participating in procurement and supply chain projects, analyzing processes, and implementing measures to improve quality, cost efficiency, and workflow effectiveness.
